As a state-certified building contractor (CBC 1259065) and a certified concrete paver installer through the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). This organization has since merged with the CMHA and is now known as Concrete Masonry & Hardscape Association. With this said, Heather brings deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and strategic leadership to the business.
Heather officially joined Standard Brick Pavers full-time in 2021, but her passion for construction, design, and entrepreneurship has been years in the making. Today, she plays a direct role in every part of the process from client consultations and project management to quality assurance and team development. Her leadership is reshaping the way people view the hardscaping industry. With Heather at the helm, we are proving that certified craftsmanship and woman-owned leadership aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, they work better together.
Equally essential to the success of Standard Brick Pavers is her sister, Jessica. As a co-owner holding 10% of the shares, Jessica helps make the company proudly 61% women owned. While Heather leads on the front lines, Jessica operates as the behind-the-scenes cornerstone, overseeing finances and managing takeoffs with precision.
